WHAT IS AURORA?
|
Inspired by the UFO crash inRoswell
and the World Trade Center attack on 9/11,
Aurora
is a story rooted deep within the mythology of the alien encounter and
the extremes of religion that gives previously accepted facts a new interpretation,
which allows it to stand on its own merits alongside other tales inspired
by the same source material. Told in a contemporary setting, Aurora
is a story of understanding and tolerance that takes its lead from the
best-known aspects of the Roswellincident and the terroristattack,
a derelict alien vessel and a holy mission.

MICHAEL SACAL - RESUME

As Co-Founder, Editor in Chief, Webmaster, Continuity Coordinator,
Promoter, and Writer for the Omniverse
Fan Fic Site, I oversaw the creative output, ensured the quality of
the material, designed the presentation of the stories for online distribution,
and advertised the website across the fan fic community. My duties required
that I understood every character from five different publishers (DC, Marvel,
VALIANT, Malibu, Image), which forced me to learn as much as I could about
all of them.

As Assistant Editor for Visionary
Comics Studios, I assisted in the development of Halloween in Hero
Town, a dark comedy created by Dan Rafter and TonyRubino,
and with the editing of Headlocked, the
tale of one young man's quest to break into the world of professional wrestling
created by Michael Kingston.

As Freelance Archivist for VALIANT
Entertainment Inc, I helped assemble an online Encyclopedia-style reference
guide called The
Book of Geomancers, which catalogues the library of VALIANT comic books
published by Voyager Communications, Acclaim Comics, and VALIANT Entertainment
Inc. In addition, as a freelance consultant, I have gathered material for
the production of adaptations of the VALIANT properties across other media.
